We've run outta stuff to talk about, I hardley see anyone come on ( at least when I'm on )

Well, we can sum this up mildly: School.

People are back in school now, and things have slowed down a bit. We hope to come up with new updates and releases of new things soon, so please bare with us! It's been hectic for everyone in the office and all people involved in making Real Life Plus awesome. You all included! While things have slowed down, we definitely still have a pulse!

Good things come to those who wait!

BETA for Style Studio is going public in a matter of weeks. This one is based on clothing ofcourse, but the sooner we get all the bugs worked out of this one the next one will be released. Meanwhile the dev team is trying to create at least a small area in world where we can go hang out for the events! Right now, this is only a forums so there is only so much that we can all do together to keep each other entertained. Participate in the games and hang in there. Real Life Plus will be much more soon!

I have a problem with invitation to the in-world event being contingent on creating things. We are not all creative.

What other sorts of things would you like to do? Should there be separate events for non-creators, or are you interested in something else?

Don't worry, Wendy! There will be other ways to get invites to it...this is just the first. (My sketched wench is just a stick figure with a scibble for an eyepatch'doh, so I understand).

It seems to me that folks who have been active in these forums, and getting others to sign up and so forth, for months and months, shouldn't be left out, period. I would love to have games to play, but to say only those who are creative get to get in...well, a lot of us have stuck by, and attended different events. I think that should count for something.

Like Babs had mentioned the current Competition and Challenge will not be the only way to get an invite. There will be more opportunities during the next month that wont involve creating graphics or designing stuff. We only have a number of spaces available for the event and we can't just fit everyone. We want to make it special so only people who are really interested and have been supporting RL+ can get in. Participating on the competitions is a great way of showing this. We are currently working on other ways to invite more people and fill in the rest of the spots. If you have ideas on other ways to give out the invites I'll be glad to hear them out.

Unfortunately not EVERYONE can be invited to the same event. That would be cool, but it is not realistic. Wendy, we are NOT leaving active members out. First, you do not have to be creative to submit /something/ to one of the contests. Second, a couple of team members have already said that there will be /other/ ways to get an invite. Those ways to get invites will be out soon and will not be like the September contests. I agree that active members should get first dibs, and they will by choosing one of the easy and fun options for getting one of the invites. 'tu Hopefully one of the ways to get an invite will appeal to you as well
